At the center of a black hole lies the singularity. At the singularity, everything is crushed to a point of infinity density, punching a hole into the fabric of the universe. Particles and anti-particles are at the edge of black hole. Some particles fall into the hole and others escape. This stream of escaping particles is known as Hawking Radiation. The particles that fall into the black hole have a negative mass, and will cause the hole to get smaller and smaller until it disappears. In this final moment, a black hole will explode with the energy of a million nuclear bombs. At one point, everything in our universe was squeezed into a singularity, which then exploded into the Big Bang.
