Having a hard time eating healthy on the go? Popsugar’s Michele Foley points out a number of healthy fast-food options from big names like McDonald’s.
Eating healthy at fast food restaurants is actually not that hard. There are a good number of options that keep the calorie counter in the 300 calorie range. McDonald’s offers a grilled chicken sandwich and apple slices as a side. A six inch turkey sub from Subway can be served on whole-grain bread loaded with veggies and some light condiments. At KFC, go grilled and skip the gravy. Two or three slices of pizza loaded with chicken, spinach and tomato make a rather healthy dinner from Domino’s, and for breakfast think an Acai Berry Bowl from Jamba Juice.
